2027 Elections

The 2027 Rakkasan Association Board election process begins November 1, 2026 and consists of two phases: 

  • ​Nomination & Declaration Phase – November 1, 2026 to November 30, 2026.

  • Election Phase – January 1, 2027 to January 31, 2029.

 

Positions open in the 2027 election process are:

  • President

  • Treasurer

  • Board Position 5

  • Board Position 6 

  • Board Position 7

2027 Nomination Form

Regular and Reserve Members are eligible to nominate other Regular and Reserve Members for open Board positions. ​​Memberships must be current, valid and in good standing. Membership status of all who participate in the nomination, declaration and election process will be verified. Associate, Affiliate, Hereditary and Honorary Members are not eligible to participate.

Nomination Process:

  • One Nomination Form can be used to list nominations for each open position.

  • Each nominee (person being nominated) must be in agreement and must complete a Declaration Form.

  • It is up to the nominator (person nominating), to ensure each nominee is an agreement and willing to serve the two (2) year term.

Declaration Process:

  • Each person nominated must complete a Declaration Form to indicate intent and willingness to serve the two (2) year term.

  • Campaign statements (one page or less) may be submitted with the Declaration Form or through email to info@rakkasanassociation.org. Once received, campaign statements will be made available on the Association Website and through newsletters.

To be completed by all nominees to declare/confirm intent to be a candidate.

The 2026 Rakkasan Association Board Election results were as follows:​​

 

​Vice-President - Frank Peterson (unopposed)​

Secretary - Leslie "Rick" Perry

Board Position 8​ - Marcos Amador

Board Position 9 - Beau Brumfield (unopposed)

We welcomed two new members to the National Rakkasan Association Board of Directors - Leslie "Rick" Perry and Marcos Amador. ​​​​​​​​​​
