A Quick Note from the Association President |
![]() Fellow Rakkasans, I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who sponsored, planned, attended, supported and donated to the recent reunion. It was a great success! Many hours of planning go into coordinating these reunions - thank you to COL Bell and the 3rd Brigade staff for hosting and supporting us. Thank you to the Association Board members for their hours of work. Thank you to our corporate sponsors - ATS Advisors, General Dynamics, Precision Contracting Services - as well as many generous individual donators. Thank you to The Bruce Convention Center, The Cutting Edge (caterers) and the Torii Chapter for the BBQ meal. Thank you to MG Viet Luong for speaking with us during the Memorial Dinner. Your collective efforts made this a memorable reunion for all who attended! Old friends regrouped, new friendships were formed and memories were made. Next up, the 101st Airborne Division Association Reunion in August. It's onto Orlando! LVNF Bob Harkins President |

2025 Reunions |
2025 National Rakkasan Association/Hamburger Hill Chapter Reunion A great time was had by all! Thank you to everyone who attended. For those of you who were unable to make it this year, your camaraderie was sorely missed. For those of you who haven't attended in a long while or who have never attended a reunion, make plans for May of 2026. For those of you of the "younger generations"- still active duty, still working or only recently separated from military service - you are part of the Rakkasan Legacy. It is never too late or too soon to attend. |
Rakkasan of the Year - The 2025 Rakkasan of the Year was awarded to James Sullivan. Rakkasan Reserve of the Year - The 2025 Rakkasan Reserve Award was posthumously awarded to Marguerite Honeycutt. The 2024 Rakkasan Reserve Award was presented to Cindy Boyd. Hamburger Hill Chapter Scholarships - Five scholarships were awarded this year. Awards were announced during the Memorial Dinner.
