Wishing everyone a wonderful Thanksgiving!

I wish all Rakkasans and their families the best Thanksgiving Day ever. Let us pause and count our many blessings.
Many of us recall the days of deployment when Holidays were celebrated in mess halls or out in the field...far from family and loved ones. Don't forget to reach out to fellow Rakkasans this Holiday Season.
I am grateful for all of you!
See you in Clarksville in May.

Thanksgiving Around the Globe!
Starting with World War II, Rakkasans have been celebrating Thanksgiving Dinner around the globe - Philippines, Japan, Korea, Vietnam, Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan, Iraq, Europe and other counties as well as locations within the United States. On many occasions over the years, the holiday meal has been interrupted or delayed due to active combat situations. 2026 finds the current/active Rakkasans at Ft Campbell, Kentucky or gathering at home.
Wherever you are today, we wish you a wonderful Thanksgiving! But ask that you take a moment to remember times past, say a toast to the fallen and reach out to a Rakkasan who may be alone in the days ahead.
Happy Thanksgiving!
